The New Odense University Hospital – OUH & Faculty of Health Sciences – SUND.
As part of Team Medic OUH, we are building the new OUH and SUND. The project focuses on patients, relatives, co-workers, students and research scientists, and takes as its starting point the existing university’s architecture, which is being further developed.

The complexity and robustness of the project was carefully incorporated into the area’s existing scenic features.
The new OUH is based on the latest technology and developments, containing a flexible structure prepared for adopting new, altered courses of treatment.The new OUH and SUND are being constructed from the outset as low-energy constructions incorporating solar heating, ground-source heating, solar PV panels, green roofs and rainwater management.
The project comprises 273,000 m2, with a construction cost of around EUR 0.75 billion.
